The Institute of Culture and Education for Development was founded on 21 December 2021 as an initiative to place culture and education at the service of individual and social development.
On 20 July 2022, ICED was registered as a legal entity by decision of the Tirana District Court.
The organization was created by professionals in culture and education who believe that books, schools, teachers, heritage, technology and knowledge are fundamental factors in the country’s social, economic and cultural development.
